About the Artist.
Paula Metz DiSciullo
I create colorful, warm acrylic paintings that add personality to any space with animals and botanicals remembered, places felt and soothing abstracts. My art stems from an openness to the beauty around me through travel, nature and beloved animals. Layer upon layer of color creates texture and vibrancy. I paint with loose bold brush strokes. Intuitive color choices allow the energy and character of my subjects to shine through. I showcase the tension between order and natures' imperfection resulting in a beautiful contrast.
Preserving the spirit of your beloved animal through vibrant, soulful portraiture is incredibly important to me. The end results are expressive portraitures of the animals who shape our stories.
